COMMERCIAL AND INDUSTRIAL
Gyms or Recreational Centres, Day Care Centres, Truck Depos, Cafes or Restaurants are just a few of the commercial and industrial projects the design team have worked on in the past. Your project, whether commercial or industrial, will be assigned the best designer and planner specialised for the project to get the best results.
Eco Tourist Facility
This Fifteen Eco Tourist facility was in total collaboration with our planning and design team with the owner from the setout. The clever layout of the buildings on site follows the sun route and the setout of the tall trees ensuring each of the buildings gets adequate but not excessive solar exposure. Of imperative importance was also the privacy of the nearby building of the owner. All the cottages have independent water tanks and solar panels that are recharged daily and meant for brief stays. Undercover carspaces allows the cars to be clear of snow in the cold winter mornings whilst also creating a privacy buffer between the staggered cottages. The cottages are built on suspended pac footings to allow for minimum intervention of the land’s original contours, also with the aim of being able to easily return the land to the way it was initially. Materials used were rammed earth, low maintenance recycled weatherboard, recycled floor boards, recycled door and windows. A restaurant and shop have also been allowed for in the same architectural language to further minimise the ecological footprint of the visitors.

Multi Residential Complex
This complex contains two main buildings, one to the front in the shape and style of a weatherboard cottage, the second on two storeys containing ten units in the shape of an old barn. The streetscape was well respected with the continuation of the cottages and being sympathetic to the original language and rhythm it was well received by the authorities. The building at the rear imitates a service building as would have been an old barn at the time and contains several independent units with parking. The neighbouring properties amenity was given high priority being this one of very few vacant sites that would have interrupted the equilibrium already formed.

Blacktown, Grafton and Kempsey Street
Medical centre located in Blacktown consisting in 20 suites on two levels , a pharmacy and cafe at ground floor. Basement underground parking. The interplay of the volumes in two directions in the facade recalls the cordal spine and the articulation of the vertebrae. A very challenging site with two main sewers over which the building bridges allowing the two sections of the development to have a break in scale and bulk, materials and character.

Child Care Centre
This Childcare centre for over seventy kids is located in a cul de sac that was initially a challenge in itself for the traffic engineer. Once this was resolved the design was able to be informed from it and the parking was decided to be on site in order to not put pressure on the immediate busy locality. Working with the setout of the original trees and Council’s regulations, a modern two storey building was designed with the motto of the treehouse. The interior area was designed with a common area where the parents could have breakfast with their kids at a vast common table surrounding the kitchen, an idea the Client so much loved he decided to further the documentation of the project after its approval with the interior design.
